Cold Chicken Salad

Ingredients

  • Chicken Boneless-2 Pieces (boiled)
  • Potato-3 (boiled) Peel it and cut it into cubes
  • Carrot-3 (boiled) cut it into small pieces.
  • Pea-1 cup (boiled)
  • Apple-2 (cut it into small pieces sprinkle sugar and lemon in it)
  • Pineapple Slices-4 (cut it into cubes)
  • Almonds-10 to 12 (cut it into 2 pieces)
  • Raisins (kishmish)-10 Soak into hot water and cook it over hot pan.
  • Capsicum-2 (take out the seeds and cut it into cubes)
  • Fresh Cream-1 cup
  • White Pepper Powder-1 tsp
  • Salt-To taste
  • Sugar-1/2 tbsp

For White Sauce

  • All Purpose Flour-3 tbsp
  • Milk-3 cup
  • White Pepper Powder-1 tsp
  • Butter-1/2 tbsp
  • Salt-To taste


Method

  • Take a little cooking bowl put butter in it.
  • After that add flour and cook it.
  • Now leave it from flame after 5 minutes add milk in it and mix it well.
  • Again put this bowl over flame when sauce started thick then remove it from the flame.
  • Now add white pepper and salt, Your white sauce is ready.
  • Take a bowl put all the vegetables in it, white sauce, almonds, cream, salt, sugar, and mix it well
  • After that leave it in the fridge.
  • Garnish it with raisins and salad leaves.

Watermelon Salad

Ingredients:

  • Watermelon  1
  • Honey 3 Tbsp
  • Lemon 2
  • Black Pepper 1/2 Tbsp
  • Ginger 2 Tbsp
  • Sugar 2 Tbsp
  • Mint  Some Leafs
  • Salt  As per Taste
  •  1/2 medium shallot, minced

Method:

  1. Cut Watermelon into Square Pieces and separate its Seeds , then put these pieces in a bowl and keep it in the fridge to make it cool .
  2. Put honey , Salt , Lemon Juice and Sugar in the frying pan and make Caramel Sauce then and Ginger into it and put all of them on to Watermelon widely & Dredge Black Pepper onto it.
  3. Put mint and shallots on it and serve it after freezing it.

Nutty Couscous Salad


Ingredients:
  • 1 cup fine couscous
  • 11/2 cup water
  • 1 red bell pepper cut into small cubes
  • 1 tbsp parsley or coriander finely chopped
  • 1 small can of mixed beans
  • 2 tbsp of roughly chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 2 tbsp dried blueberry
  • 2 tbsp dried cranberry
  • salt to tast
Method:
  • Bring 11/2 cup water to a boil.
  • Pour this hot water over the couscous and cover and keep it for about 15 minutes
  • Then with the help of fork, gently flake it like the way you would handle cooked rice.
  • Drain the water from the canned mixed beans and rinse it nicely under the tap and mix these beans with the couscous.
  • Add all the remaining ingredients to the couscous and gently mix it together with a fork.
  • Chill it for about 1/2 hour in the refrigerator and serve it as a side or a salad

Stir-Fry Cabbage salad

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups cabbage cut into thin slices
  • 1/2 cup carrots cut into thin slices
  • 1/2 cup red and green bell pepper cut into thin slices
  • 1/4 cup green beans cut in approx. 11/2 inch and halves
  • 2 teaspoons oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 2 whole red peppers
  • Few leaves of curry leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt adjust to taste
  • Pinch of sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon shredded coconut
Method
  1. Heat the oil in frying pan over medium high heat.
  2. Add mustard seeds, curry leaves, and red pepper as seeds crack. Tip: as you add curry leaves it will splatter, be careful. Add cabbage, carrots, bell pepper, and beans stir-fry for 3-4 minutes, vegetables should be crisp don’t overcook.
  3. Turn off the heat, add salt, lemon juice and coconut, and mix it well.
  4. Serve warm.

Russian salad



Recipe for one salad bowl:


potato-1big
carrot-1
apple-1
peas-half cup , some cabbage
cream half cup
mayo 2tblsp
sugar 2tsp
salt 2 pinches
black pepper half tsp
boil potato cube,carrot cubes n peas
cut apple in cube n some cabbage
beat cream with some sugar,add mayo salt n black pepper
mix all the ingredients well

Cold Salad

Ingredients:

Potato (cubed and boiled) 1 cup
Carrot cubed and boiled ½ cup
Peas boiled ½ cup
Cucumber (peeled and cut into cubed) 2
Fruit cocktail 1 medium tin
Mayonnaise ¾ cup
Fresh cream 1 cup
Castro sugar 2 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
White pepper ½ tsp
Gelatin powder 1 tbsp
Pineapple jelly 1 packet
Water 1 cup


DIRECTIONS:


In a pan add water, jelly mix and gelatine. Heat and stir until jelly and gelatine are dissolved. Set aside.

Mix in it mayonnaise, cream, salt, pepper, sugar, all vegetables, fruit cocktail, mix all well. Pour mixture in a jelly mould. Set for 4 hours till firm. Over turn serve decorated on bed of salad leaves.
