SHAHI HALEEM

INGREDIENTS:

About a lb of beef with bones
1Tsp garlic
onions for tarka
and that is about it!
AND oh yes the lentils and grains come with the pack..i usually add some more lentils to them and soak for an hour.



Method:

 Put about 5tbs oil in a pot,add garlic and then meat and the masala from the (shahi haleem pack)fry for a good 15 mins so the meat sucks in all the flavours of the spices.
then add the lentil&grains fry for a min
add about 5 cups water and bring to boil.
Turn down flame and simmer the mixture until meat falls off the bones(3 -4 hours)
carefully remove bones and either blend everything in a blender or do what i did and burn off some calories;)
USE ur arms mash mash and mash....u r in the home stretch now.......keep going....
bus phir tarka of onions and garnish with chaat masala, green chillies, lemon wedges and ginger sticks!
ready in hours....hard to resist;p
